Looking at the different beauty products on the wash area in my bathroom one day, I was amused how beauty products came to be and just thought who first invented and discovered it and knew that it would do wonders to beautify women throughout generations. Beauty products not only existed in our present times it was already there even in the olden times. But I wonder if beauty products in Cleopatra's time had brands as what we now have in the present times where there are brands like Clinique, MAC, L'Oreal or Max Factor? Well, only one thing is sure, beauty products whether in olden or in present times was made to enhance a woman's beauty and at the same time makes them feel good.

Horseradish Tree

Leaves of horseradish tree are good source of vitamins and some minerals. “Malunggay” originated in India and is widely used in the Indian subcontinent, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia. It has many uses as animal feeds, fertilizer and is now being studied as feedstock for bio-gas and diesel production. However, in the Philippines we have malunggay-based recipes such as polvoron. A public school teacher and nurse recently prepared malunggay polvoron which was given to students. The malunggay polvoron caused a drop in the iron deficiency of students. This polvoron is made from malunggay powder.

The Bargain

After 1 year and 11 days of captivity under the Abu Sayyaf, missionary couple Martin and Gracia Burnham was free. Gracia escaped with a bullet in her thigh. Martin escaped and went to heaven.

Bad Breath

It is an unpleasant odor exhaled in breathing. Some people with halitosis are not even conscious that they have this condition unless they consult a dentist. There are many causes of disorder such as: The foods we eat that contain onions and garlic thus once absorbed into the bloodstream it affects the air we exhale, it can cause by dry mouth (or decrease saliva), and lastly it can cause by smoking and alcohol consumption. Treatment may include: Cleaning of your teeth and gums (brushing and flossing) and smoking cessation.
